Cadenza for Mac

Free while in private beta. No account required. Your audio and transcripts stay on your Mac.

System requirements

• macOS 14 Sonoma or later (15 Sequoia, 26 Tahoe supported)
• Apple Silicon (M1+) or Intel Mac
• ~200 MB free disk space for the app
• Recordings are stored under ~/Library/Containers/com.cadenzapp.cadenza/

Permissions

On first launch, Cadenza will request:

• Microphone — to capture your voice
• Screen Recording — required to capture system audio (other participants on calls)
• Calendar — to match recordings with meetings

Verify the download (optional)

Cadenza is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarised. macOS will verify the signature on first launch. If you'd like to verify manually:

codesign --verify --deep --strict --verbose=2 /Applications/Cadenza.app
spctl --assess --type execute --verbose /Applications/Cadenza.app
